&#160;

this is xerox from a book... a chapter in a book... prob from late eighties judging by refs...

its quite good... basic but good. &#160;the book came out in 2010, but its just an edited collection

of classics.

&#160;

attacks the issue that Steve Pinker discussed in Blank Slate (but also in Language Instinct)...

this chapter is well before 2002 when Blank Slate came out.

&#160;

&#160;

this paper: &#160;cog development is about

synapse numbers, patterns, placement

&#160;

dendritic arborizations....

&#160;

basically CONNECTOME &#160;

&#160;

connectome at any one time determines what is learned, which modifies the connectome...

this is a non-stationary system.</p>
