Trauma

&#160;

I am totally disgusted by my accidents in the past two months.

On Nov 28 2005 (Monday) I fell off my bike at the top of Old La Honda Road after I hit a pothole ...

I wasn't even going that fast and it still hurt and I was limping around for two weeks.

My L thigh is still sore.

&#160;

Then, last Saturday on Jan 21 I was skiing thru deep snow and got clobbered by a tree. Again I was

not going that fast. I could not even get out of my skis. My back is sore. I could have really gotten messed up

permanently.

&#160;

This is just stupid.

&#160;

Lesson: try to bike less ... only on the sidewalk. Go really slow downhill. Mainly go uphill and

ride only on protected paths. Hike more and bike less.

&#160;

Skiing. Go slow. Do not ski near trees. Do not ski thru deep snow. Do not ever do double blacks. Let Sean do them.

&#160;

Climbing ... safety must be paramount.</p>
