The Open Compute Project's focus is on server, storage and data center design. The Open
Vault project is an OCP Foundation technology vertical allowing for continuous storage
innovation aimed at lowering the total cost of ownership (TCO) and raiseing the return
on investment (ROI) of data center storage technologies through driving open
innovation in hardware and software. By leveraging industry-leading technologies, Open
Vault will address technology requirements ranging from high performance to high
