Transcendent being in many religions.
The word angel means  MESSENGER  (from God).  (can also act as a warrior or guardian).
Guardian angel.
 
Angels are usually viewed as emanations of a supreme divine being, sent to do the tasks of that being.
 
A  DEVA  (sanskrit) is a BEING of LIGHT.
