that the 2nd gyro (of 4) on Kepler conked out.

900 detected exoplanets and confirmed.

a few thousand others are under investigation.

they are diverse...

our solar system is just one example ...andperhaps an unusual one.

Borucki detected  2 small planets  1.4 and 1.6 X EArth in hab zone of a star smaller and cooler than Sun.
