neurotransmitter release:

occurs when calcium in the end bouton binds to
synaptotagmin which triggers fusion of vesicles
at the active zone of the presynaptic neuron.

Synaptotagmin-1 = Syt1 is the Ca sensor for fast neuroxmtr release.
