I read Turing's Apple tonite in Borders. It was in a collection of the Best Sci Fi of 2008... it was the lead story.
It is terrific.

It appears in The Years Best Science Fiction,  Twenty-Sixth Annual Collection edited by Gardner Dozois.

In Stephen Baxter's "Turing's Apples" two brothers reluctantly work together to decode an alien signal picked up by a radio telescope on the far side of the moon.</p>
