Recall his <b>1967 work  Cognitive Psychology </b>... one of my major influences.
 
(Other was "Brain and Conscious Experience"  ed by Eccles  I buy it tonite from Amazon 2nd hand
 
Neisser born 1928;
 
 
The modern growth of <a title="Cognitive psychology" href="/wiki/Cognitive_psychology">cognitive psychology</a> received a major boost from the publication in 1967 of the first, and most influential, of his books:<b> <i>Cognitive Psychology</i></b>.  This was the main source for my 1971 paper.
