2012 Intel buys ASML EUV 450 mm

from the Economist:  July 2012;  ASML  largest semi eqpt manuf... relied upon by Intel and
by S Korea (Samsung) and by Taiwan.
 
Intel takes 15% position in Intel in order to spur  EUV devel.
 
Inel bot  15% of ASML and
 
Sansung and Taiwan Semi may also buy 10%.
 
will move to 450 mm wafers.
 
Intel paid 3.1 billion for 15% of ASML.
