Sentence Method

With the Sentence note-taking method, you write every new thought on a new line to separate your thoughts and key ideas with the use of concise sentences.

However, it is difficult to tell which lines are more important than others and can be challenging to edit if you want to add something to the thought.

This note-taking method is easy to use if the lecture or meeting is somewhat organized and if you do not know the relationship between major ideas.

1. Capture the info in sentence format
2. Give each sentence it’s own line
3. Number each line for easy reference
