TheBrain 8, The Plex and Tool Tabs, Thoughts

<p>
The Thought tab is one of the most frequently used tool tabs. The top two fields are where you can modify the thought name and label. From here you can add or remove a thought icon, customize the color of the thought, set the thought type and if it's a private thought. Finally, you can open, add, delete or rename attachments from this window. </p>
<p>
This tab will also change it's functionality slightly, depending on what is the active thought. </p>
<p>
If the active thought is a tag, a yellow ribbon will appear at the top of the tool window to say that this is a tag. You cannot change the thought icon if it's a tag thought.

If the active thought is a Thought Type a yellow ribbon will appear at the top of the tool window to say that this is a Thought Type. The only change will the section where you change the Type will now change to Super type.

If you have selected a link it will change to the Link tab, allowing you to set the link label, color, thickness, directionality (<a href="brain://E2546655-7E9D-171A-AFE7-0E691AC56AA7/000D0955-2BFE-7D08-959B-DF24228BA767/Link+Direction">see here</a> for more info), and link type.</p>
