Self-welcoming

● When to apply?

○ When “I don’t feel like there is room for me giving my gifts in the world”:

■No (perfect) job for me (space in the marketplace)

■No easy clients to find for me

■Feeling like there’s no fitting romantic partner out there for me.

■No space in my friendships (feeling or fearing some rejection).

■No space for me amongst my colleagues.

○ Before doing self-promotion actions.

○Anytime! / If you notice you haven’t fully received yourself.

● What effects (other positive effects can happen as well)

○ Self-fullness (+ confidence for self-promotion).

○ Ability to perform actions of reaching out, with joy & excitement

○ Feeling welcomed in the world.

Self-Welcoming (short version)

● How to apply? — SHORT VERSION: (the questions don’t need to be answered explicitly, as long as you track that the process is happening).

○ If you look at how you relate to the world: Is there room for you in this world? Are you assuming that there is space for your business, for your heart, for you? Good news: Nature in its intelligence, doesn’t give us gifts without ALSO creating a space in the world for it to be received. This recipient, even if invisible for now, exists and can be felt.

○If you don't feel fully welcome in life, it's OK because we can actually welcome ourselves. (after 18 your parents won’t do it for us). Let us right now intend to “self-welcome, to welcome ourselves by ourselves”, first to fill the space in the room ‘energetically’, then in all the contexts we already have in our life, you can use an embodied gesture. (ex: gesture of opening arms and effortlessly making space and welcoming).

○As you do this, you might start to feel more of your fullness. Even if you have doubts, create yourself—and life—limitless, as already having this space for you. No matter why you didn't feel welcome, just welcome yourself right now, in the world, in society.

○Welcome yourself completely, your whole body, your whole being. Relax into the space that is there. Take it into your body and allow whatever wants to happen (cry, laugh, grow). Let integration happen on its own.

○Take one more minute to sink into that.

○To go into action from here:Continue to receive this growing fundamental wellbeing. And as we keep it, we also bring our action into it, and we let them happen together

Self-Welcoming: Full guided version (pt.1)

●How to apply? (share that you will do it with yourself while they do it with themselves) (This practice is best done when experienced multiple times, integrated, and then shared from your own experience and words, at your pace)

○If you look at how you relate to the world: Is there room for me in this world? Am I assuming that there is space for my business, for my heart, for me? In my family, in my friendship. Do I have the right assumption that nature is so smart that there is no way that it has forgotten to make room for me? If I don't feel fully welcome in life, it's ok because I can welcome myself. There is space for my business, for promoting myself (potentially coupled with a gesture of opening arms).

○I'm going to welcome myself in all the space in the room, in all the contexts I already have.

○And when I do that, it feels like one, or many, spheres are there for me to fill up. And I'm starting to feel my fullness; I'm bringing my fullness in all the spaces that I'm touching. Even if I have doubts, I'm creating myself and even creating life limitless, as already having this space for me. No matter why I didn't feel welcome, I'm just going to welcome myself right now, in the world, in society. Everything people can have is also reserved for me.

○(optional) See if you can (in this wellbeing that is around you) receive some love from people that are in your life that you haven't fully received yet (colleagues, friends, family). Was there some love that I was closing to? And as I intend to receive this unreceived love, then this self-welcoming is even warmer, growing even more.

○“Whatever I dream or need is not only 'ok', but welcome”

Self-Welcoming: Full guided version (pt.2)

○You may experience it in your throat or in your heart. Now, I want you to do it from the (lower) belly. Welcome yourself completely, your whole body, your whole being, your place in society from the lower belly. Even if someone in the past or even today has rejected you, still there is room for you—exactly what you want, maybe even more beautiful than what we can imagine. And I continue to welcome myself in this, using my belly. I can relax into the space that is there, no need to be tight or serious.

○Later on, you can experience: before I go into connection, what happens if I fully welcome myself? (the opposite of creating assumption of self-rejection). Before even having assumptions, I welcome myself in life.

○When I do this, something feels right. The joy I feel, the excitement I feel, I take it with my body awareness. If I need to laugh I laugh, cry I cry. If I need to feel focus, steady, stark, or warm, loving, I let it happen.

○I'm also going to welcome myself in my body and my body inside my awareness And I'm going to welcome that the body every second is already integrating for me. I don't even have to think about it, my body is integrating. You may feel your spine, behind your spine. (Sigh of relaxation). Self-welcoming was already happening a bit, but now I'm giving it even more attention. Let integration happen on its own.

○Take one more minute to sink into that. While sinking in, you can share more of your experience.

○How to go into action from here: We continue to receive this growing fundamental wellbeing. And as we keep it, we also bring our action into it, and we let them happen together.
