Modulators v Drivers

• What are the top two or three main drivers that are actually reducing this?
  • Complexity is modulated. it's not driven
  • Driver language is cause and effect language
    
• What complexity has is things which modulate behavior
  • It's rather like a set of magnets and if the magnets can change in strength and polarity and then they influence what's happening in between.

• You can't change the system but you can change the modulators

• Modulators: Avoid using "modulators" as a noun because it oversimplifies the concept too early in the process.
  • Modulation as a Verb: It's more accurate to say that complex systems are modulated rather than having modulators.
