11:47pm: Just got back from brother Joe’s house in Sullivan (51 to 16 to F) and I can barely tolerate driving at night. I left an envelope with him for Gov. Evers. Inside that envelope is my Elder Abuse statement with supporting documentation. I asked Joe to hand it to him personally and wait with him while he read it. The Gov likes Joe so next wednesday, I should hear something! Yay!

Well, I have a lot to say about our roads and highways. I happen to believe that highway 51 (which runs north and south straight through our country) is “the highway to hell” and being used by traffickers. They use semis. Why are semis even allowed to drive on our beautiful country roads?
Columbia County (WI) has been putting in some beautiful country roads. The semis that ride them should ALL be on the interstate. They are on the country roads to avoid the law and weigh stations. Who made hwy 51 into “Alternate I39 and I90? Why do we need an alternate? Do you think those semis are driving down our main street at 25 mph? No, I see it all the time. How to thwart them: make the road “wiggle”; instead of letting it be a straight shot, put in 45 degree turns; put up no semi signs, or make it a law that semis stay on the interstate (or their unloading stations), put in round abouts...they hate them! Lower the speed limit to 45 on all country roads. Why do we have to drive at 55 mph on those roads. I drive at 45 mph on purpose; I can enjoy the scenery and I am able to stop in time to avoid hitting deer/wildlife (they were here first). I don’t drive in a hurry, I watch what other drivers around me are doing in case I need to avoid them. 16 year old children should not be in charge of 2,000 lb machine that can go 100 mph. The should only be allowed driver’s licenses upon high school graduation after participating in very detailed coursework. Let those kids see what it looks like to have to get out the jaws of life when someone wraps themselves around a tree after a drunken joy ride. We also have to contend with the city people who come up for drunken weekends, destroy the campgrounds, drive drunk on our roads, and generally create chaos.
Semis belong on the interstate. If they are shipping food stuffs, let the store go to the semi and pick up their order and bring it back in a much smaller type of truck. No semi should be unlabeled – we need to know on the outside what is on the inside. This will encourage people to buy locally and or direct from farmers. It will discourage farmers from selling their crops to walmart when offered cash on the spot for their entire crop. That’s why people are still going there; walmart buys the stuff for pennies on the dollar instead of an honest price.
Semis are chewing up the beautiful blacktop roads. Hiding from the weigh stations, who knows how heavy the load is. We already have to contend with winter weather and snowplows that are hard on our nice roads. Tax payers pay for the roads and the semis come in and destroy them; how does that make sense?
Am I on a roll against semis? YES, I get angry every time I see one off the Interstate (where they belong).
The train tracks in the county parallel hwy 51, I’m wondering if there is any connection.
I sincerely believe that my Elder Abuse statement is connected to fraud, HUD, and trafficking. Can’t prove it but I pray that Gov Evers and the White Hats will know what to do.

Just YELLED at #101 for having her dog off the leash outside in front of my window.
ME: “Put that dog on a leash” (which she had in her hand, which means it was loose in the hallway). Then she gave me a stupid look. So, I said while pointing my finger at her, “PUT IT ON A LEASH. You know better.” And she walked away with the leash. I was SO mad I was shaking as I closed the window and plopped in my chair.” If she does it again, I’m going to give her an earful! But boy did it feel good to yell at her!
Made an appt for next week to have my A/C fixed and the gas gauge looked at. $340 is not too bad; I thought it might be lots more. Cheeper than a new vehicle, hey?
Found a place that sells Blue Buffalo Freedom Senior Chicken Dry Dog food in Portage. I’m switching so I don’t have to buy from Aldis any more.
And Management thinks they will just enter our apartments whenever they like:

#102 and #104 were outside chatting, could be a love connection. #102 was obviously imbibing.
Rumor has it that Mr. Z is leaving; don’t know when or why.
Found WI Law that prohibits Landlords from entering without 12 hours notice and tenant can be there.
I thought it was 24 hours notice.

6:46am: Another day, another dollar.
11:24am: Been adding pix to the “Saved Pics” folder; it will make a great slide show but there needs to be more time between slides. I cannot alter that with the technology I have.
2:17pm: Working on Derek’s mindmap.
3:24pm: The lawn cutters are here. I told him I was always happy to see him because he does such a nice job. That put a smile on his face; it’s so hot outside.
Told #105 my boy-dog’s story: If you talk baby talk to him he will pee in place. Quite the emotional little thing. He hasn’t done it for years since my witch sister did it on purpose to laugh at him.
Victor looks like the little dog that is looking at the old RCA Victrola players. He’s very sweet and loyal. But when I have to leave them at home, I think Victor and Oreo play too rough. Victor usually has a bloody ear.
Well, well……….there goes #101 with her dog on the leash and turning her head away from my window.
5pm: Birthday party for #106 out on the patio; we all brought food. More on that later.

I have reviewed 4Patriots 2000X solar powered generator with free “call dibs” package which includes a “grab and go” cart to move it from outside to inside and vice-versa. We can’t be lifting a 60lb generator without the help of the wheeled cart. This building needs this generator to keep any pertinent medications refrigerated. I went to the library and printed out some general information but there are more details on the website: 4Patriots.com. All the residents recognize the importance of the purchase and will sign the included purchase request. The “grab and go” free package is on back order at the time of the writing but it must be included in the order. Mr. Tapp, it is imperative that the Residents in 202 have this order placed as soon as the “grab and go” carts are back in stock. Joey is the customer service rep that I spoke with and he understands our need for the cart to move the generator in and out.
I urge you to make this purchase for our safety without negotiation; should you have questions please feel free to contact me via email.
I even got Carol #112 (the woman who sits in the kitchen with her cat in the dark) to sign. She obviously has some mental health issues; I think I even heard her say she used to live in a motel.
Anyway, during our lengthy conversation she gave me an earful of some horrific building code violations that currently exist in this building including asbestos in the ceiling tiles. Since she has been here for nine years, I asked her to write down in her notebook (which I knew she would have) everything she wanted to be addressed and that when the new manager came we would have a meeting with him/her. I suggested that once every resident had documented all their apartment/management “issues” that we would have a residents pre-meeting before going to the new manager. That way everything is documented. Carol also mentioned that the dryer is not vented properly. (I told you something was wrong in there!).
My plan is to have the signed request, the general info, on the machine, the email that details the description that customer service sent to me, and a cover letter from me. All the guy has to do is pay for it; I’ve done all the grunt work. He will be in deep doggie doo doo if he shows any sign of rejection.

#102 is a drunk. He refused to sign my purchase request and convinced two other people not to sign it.
He doesn’t know that I know that he is afraid of the new rules which state no drinking alcohol in public places. He told me that he read them and I read them. He doesn’t want to give up his booze. God’s will be done.
I see on Restored Republic today that “trucks were outlawed.” Would like to see more information on that.

Took the dogs to the groomer; they got the works and both look amazing.
Have the idea of being a tutor to kids to teach them how to mindmap.
I need to take a break. Still working on Derek’s mindmap and my Love Barn mindmap.
Got an email from Derek with instructions on how to sign up for QFS. Maybe I will do that tomorrow.
