Who you would like to come to dinner

You’ve. probably thought about this, but what about enticing an audience by a commercial that says watchers can dine in the company of one of the most interesting people they know by letting the show know who that person is (having a link to “My guest choice” which provides a list of personalities from different categories the show has preselected, and telling the viewer to make his/her choices from each category, and, additionally, to add their own choice of names not already on the lists). Once the show has heard from sufficient viewers, it could create shows involving the most popular viewer selections from each category. With the viewers input the show could add to the lists with new names.
