I worked at GM for 31 years. I worked at the locomotive division, the treasury department, the comptrollers staff, Lead GM executive at the Toyota-GM jv called NUMMI, Led Truck Product Planning, Ran Business Planning for the North American Strategy Board, President of GM do Brasil, Vice President in charge of the Small Car Group and led the Yellowstone Team, Group Vice President in charge of eGM and Group Vice President of Advanced Product Development. In 2004 became President of Magna International. In 2009 became President of the Vehicle Production Group. In 2010 became an advisor to the Toyota North American Leadership team. Joined the Toyota Board of Directors in 2013. Completed a 5-year appointment to the Toyota Board of Directors in June of 2018. Became Global Adviser to Toyota in June of 2018.
