Double Diamond Model
The Double Diamond is a simple model that explains how good design usually happens in four steps. First, you discover the problem by exploring and learning widely. Then you define the real challenge by focusing and deciding what matters most. Next, you develop possible solutions by creating and testing many ideas. Finally, you deliver by choosing the best solution, refining it, and launching it. The two “diamonds” show how designers first go wide then narrow on the problem, and then go wide then narrow again on solutions.
