(00:00) You’ve been searching, collecting, and continuously building your knowledge, and now artificial intelligence has arrived as an exciting new tool with boundless possibilities to benefit your workflow. This potential, combined with TheBrain’s unique ability to display and access relationships between all of your data types and sources, is a whole new recipe for success.

Let’s take a closer look at using AI to generate thoughts in your brain. When you come to a topic that you want to know more about—or maybe you just wish to expedite the creation of thought structures below—click the AI button.

(00:37) From here, you can rename the topic you’re querying or, if your topic is too general, select a context thought from elsewhere in your brain. I’ll go ahead and select the option to generate a thought structure. This will create a multilevel network of thoughts below the current active thought.

Notice that the thoughts that were generated have an animated border. This gives you the opportunity to review the new content that AI has just introduced into your brain. You can accept, redo, or discard it.

Let’s redo this batch. Now I’ll increase the creativity to let AI really expand its vision. These already look like some great results. I’ll accept the new content.

(01:14) In another research brain, I’ve utilized AI to generate one level of child thoughts under a particular topic. However, I’m noticing that AI chose to create categories into which famous naturalists might fall. I’d rather see a list of specific names.

I’ll redo the thought generation and change the mode of results from Category to List, and the results are exactly what I was looking for, as well as some names that I hadn’t even considered. Thanks, AI!

(01:58) But the AI integration doesn’t stop there. Be sure to watch our tutorial, “AI in TheBrain, Part Two: Creating and Modifying Notes,” to see an array of additional options for using artificial intelligence in TheBrain.
