- Decision-making: The executive leadership makes critical decisions that affect the entire organization, such as mergers and acquisitions, entering new markets, or launching new product lines.
- Financial Management: Executive leaders, particularly the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), oversee the company's financial health, including budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting. They ensure financial resources are allocated effectively and that the company meets its financial goals and obligations.

- Corporate Governance: Executive leaders ensure the company complies with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. They also maintain a high level of ethical conduct within the organization and oversee corporate social responsibility initiatives.
- Talent Management: The executive team works closely with the human resources department to attract, retain, and develop top talent. They ensure the organization has the right people in the right roles and that employees receive the necessary support to grow and succeed.
- Communication: Executive leaders act as the primary spokespersons for the company, representing its interests to external stakeholders such as investors, customers, partners, and regulators. They also ensure clear and effective communication within the organization.
- Performance Monitoring: The executive team monitors the company's overall performance and progress toward strategic goals, making adjustments as necessary. They hold business units accountable for their performance and ensure the company remains on track to achieve its objectives.
