Synopsis:

A JAPER Device is a smartphone or smart device that has the JAPER App installed and is connected to a JAPER API entrypoint. The device allows users to create, manage, and access encrypted resources through barcode scanning and validation. When the JAPER App is installed, the device communicates with the JAPER API to receive a unique JAPER Device ID. The device can be further validated through email and SMS, enhancing its security and access control.

Users can interact with the JAPER Device to perform various functions, such as encryption and decryption of barcodes, validation of email addresses, mobile phone numbers, and domain names. The JAPER Device can also engage in JAPER Hail, an air-gapped communication protocol that allows for the creation of JAPER Immutable Truth in the form of device and validation proximities.

JAPER Devices can be disabled or have all validations removed easily and quickly, ensuring security and control over access to sensitive information. The device offers a user-friendly interface with a back camera scanner, which scans barcodes and displays the corresponding JAPER Outcome, along with various other buttons for accessing different features and functions.
