When you override the automatically selected sensitivity during a GPS approach, it cancels the approach mode annunciator. You will lose both the RAIM and the CDI sensitivity required for the approach. The approach mode must be armed by 2 NM prior to the FAWP or it will not become active and the equipment will flag. fbn
