Old Hands

As the patients age, their hands may become increasingly deformed (refer to Figure Old Hands). The capacity to open medication packaging can be affected by specific conditions (such as Parkinson's, stroke, dementia). These individuals may experience cognitive decline and vision impairment. Over time, they may require more assistance, including home care or residing in nursing homes.
