Turned this vase from a block of old Rimu.

Finished vase... Dec 2024. Been on the lathe for a while waiting to be finished!

Rough spindle turned work piece...300 long x 65 dia.

The flower stem rests in a laboratory glass test tube...

150 mm deep x 16mm diameter.

Mounted in lathe whilst drilling the center hole...test tube in the hole.

The auger bit in the tail stock...

Top of vase held in my shop made steady rest!
