Work / Storage Desk

August 2021:

Made a Work Desk for a disable friend. Complete with cupboards, drawers and a shelving unit all within his reach and at optimum height for his chair.

We also rearranged the room so he could work in the light and breeze from the window, and see out. He already had the steel drawer unit elsewhere in the room so it was incorporated closer at hand under the shelving.

All MDF with shellac finish and nicely detailed with rolled edges for comfort.

His old work place was basically a shelving unit...not very nice or easy to work at from a wheelchair.

Made a little stand for a trophy he was presented with...it’s now on his bookshelf.
