Cutlery Fork Handle

April 2023:

This was a repair job brought into the Akaroa Men’s Shed to be done.

Got handed to me to do as ‘the man to do the job’.

Original handle all split and partly broken off...

New replacement handle - finished.

Note the brass rivets are actually called ‘cutlery rivets’ having same blind faces each end.

The two halves slot into each other - pin one side into tube like hole in the other side.
