Voice Range
Absolutely. One useful point for Suno is that vocal range tags aren't rigidly standardised, so I’d treat these as practical prompts rather than formal voice classifications. Also, Suno may interpret D2–D4 more as a character/target range than a literal restriction.

For Suno, I'd actually use combinations
For example, if you want the D2–D4 sound you mentioned, I'd try:
deep male baritone, D2-D4 vocal range, warm low register, restrained delivery
Or, for something more Mark Knopfler-like without asking Suno to imitate him:
low baritone male vocal, D2-D4 range, dry conversational delivery, slightly gravelly, understated, restrained emotion
And if your problem is Suno suddenly pushing the singer too high in the chorus, you can reinforce it with:
low male vocal throughout, narrow vocal range, no high belting, restrained melody, comfortable low register
If you'd like, I can also give you a complete Suno vocal-range cheat sheet from C2 to C6, with tags specifically designed to paste straight into Suno.
