Tarot
Tarot is a divination tool that uses a deck of 78 cards, each with symbolic imagery, to gain insight into a person’s past, present, and future. The Tarot deck consists of two main sections:
- Major Arcana (22 cards): These cards represent significant life events, spiritual lessons, or core aspects of a person’s journey. Some of the well-known Major Arcana cards include The Fool, The Lovers, The Empress, Death, and The World.
- Minor Arcana (56 cards): These are divided into four suits (Cups, Wands, Swords, and Pentacles), each representing different aspects of life, such as emotions (Cups), action or creativity (Wands), intellect (Swords), and material or financial matters (Pentacles). Each suit has 14 cards, ranging from Ace to 10, plus four court cards (Page, Knight, Queen, King).
Tarot readings are usually performed by shuffling the deck and drawing a specific number of cards, which are then interpreted based on their meanings, positions, and relationships to one another. Tarot is often used for personal reflection, guidance, or exploring life’s questions.
