E. Compare matrices
By clicking a second matrix not worked on at the moment with the right mouse key (A, B, C etc. or consensus in the selecting field at the bottom left) two filled-out matrices can be compared in view of their discrepancies (to click off again use the right mouse key). Every effect that shows a difference to the other matrix in more than one value point now appears in a blue framed square, indicating that these enterings have to be discussed to find a consensus.
This can be done by a more detailed specification of the variables or their descriptions (see Revising Descriptions of Variables) and by comparison of the explanation of the effects (see explanation of effects).
For redefinition of the variables we recommend to print out a complete matrix in which the discrepancies then visible on the screen are marked manually. The consensus value is afterwards put into the CONSENSUS MATRIX. Only this matrix is relevant for the working step EFFECT SYSTEM.
