E. Programming the pathway

Click on the button COURSE. A window appears for the step by step defintion of the pathway of the effects.

SIMPLIEST METHOD: Click the button UNIT LENGTH at the above board. In the shield questioning the period of each round you put the time-interval to which you will adapt the table functions of each step (round or run) of your simula- tion (e.g. 1 year). Now you click the buttons ALL and FINIISHED and the programm is ready to start. During the course of this type of simulation all effects are calculated simultaneously round by round.

SPECIFIC PROCEDURE: After having fixed the UNIT LENGTH as above click on the blue connecting lines in the scenario step by step in the sequence desired (the arrows will change their colour into a light green) while pressing FORWARD after each step until all arrows have become dark green. By this procedure every variable is waiting for the result of the incoming effect before exerting its own effect.

AUTOMATIC PROCEDURE: After having fixed UNIT LENGTH as above select a STARTING VARIABLE by clicking on it with the left mouse key. All arrows emanating directly from it are now activated (getting light green). Then alternately press FORWARD and AUTOMATICALLY. The simulation course now follows a logical order.
