8. Options

Via the button OPTIONS you can also decide in which directory on the hard disk of your PC the texts or pictures of your system models should be stored externally in case you want to work on them outside the program. The window appearing after clicking the button gives you the correspon- ding instructions.

The definite external storage of files is carried out using the PRINT buttons of the respective working steps. The context menue of the button offers - besides the printing of texts and screen-shots - their saving as text (ANSI), PDF - or graphic files (BMP etc.) so they can be worked on by external collaborators and in other graphic- and text editor programs.

On the other hand, taking over texts from outside into the program (for example as a WORD-file) is possible by the normal Windows copy function (mark the text, then copy with Ctrl+C and insert with Ctrl+V).

SIZE OF THE WORKING TABLEAU With a doubleclick on the blue title strip the tableau will be screen-filling (with enlarged texts in most of the tools) and with a new doubleclick will return to it's original size. Also each tableau can be 'drawn' to any size by a holded mouse click. The functions of the OPTIONS menu are only relevant for special cases (e.g. importing models from former versions of the software).
