Export Full Chat Transcript
Currently, TheBrain 15 does not feature a dedicated "Export Full Chat Transcript" or "Save All Messages" button built directly into the Cerebro AI floating dialog. Because the interface restricts you to copying individual message bubbles, dealing with a massive 738-message log manually is completely impractical.
To bypass this limitation and get your complete chat history over to Tech Support quickly, use one of the following workarounds:
Method 1: Grab the Raw Chat Database File (Fastest & Most Complete)
TheBrain stores its application data, configuration, and local histories directly on your Windows 11 machine. Instead of copying text from the UI, you can extract the underlying database files where Cerebro's conversation logs are written.
- Close TheBrain 15 completely.
- Open Windows File Explorer and navigate to TheBrain's local application data directory (typically found under your user profile appdata folder, e.g.,
C:\Users\angel\AppData\Local\TheBrainor check your local configuration path). - Look for the database or log files associated with local application state and AI histories.
- Alternatively, you can zip up the relevant app data/log directory and send that archive directly to support so they can inspect the exact telemetry and message payload.
Method 2: Inspect via Local API / Automation Console
Because TheBrain 15 includes local API and automation scripting capabilities, you can check if your chat log data is accessible via programmatic query:
- Open Settings > AI or check your local integration options.
- If you have custom scripts enabled, you can write a short routine to pull recent context or conversation session arrays into a standard text or JSON file for export.
Method 3: Support Alternative (Screenshots or Summarization)
If Tech Support only needs to see the nature of the bug or the specific error loops you are encountering:
- Ask Cerebro itself within the chat: "Please summarize the key errors, steps, and troubleshooting sequence we have discussed across our conversation so far into a single comprehensive markdown list."
- You can then easily copy that single summary message and paste it into a support ticket, letting them know it represents a distillation of your 738-message session.
