Author Editing Note:

With the addition of Ai Cerebro, there are a lot more fun things we can do very easily. Using the "Find Wiki Article" button on the side panel. Take a look at the first example made for Jody Treadwell. Originally, AI Cerebro couldn't find a dedicated Wikipedia article for Jody, but that didn't stop it, it did find his BR Bullpen entry (Baseball-Reference). And added a lot of interesting and helpful material.
2024/04/12 15:00 - I got this idea from listening to Halo Honk - Rodger Lodge on the radio. Rodger is a baseball history buff and has recorded his radio broadcasts with years of baseball history. Rodger was reading information about the Angels hitting Home Runs and is about to reach 9,000 home runs in Angels Franchise History.
- My idea is to link to his audio clips of baseball historical interests.
- I also just started this idea of having a “Editing Note” type thought. For notes like this. I should consider making the thought private rather than public?
- Okay, 2024/03/28 17:58, I see that my ToDo list Author Editing Note is starting to take up a lot of space in the ToDo list.
- And I suppose the uncompleted ToDo’s list will begin to grow as well and should be a new child thought for each To Do action under this note. And what to do when a item on the list is completed and then a sub-item is created that is not completed under the completed list?
2025/09/01 23:27 I have decide to not show the completed check mark so that the list is shorter. I currently have over 620 ToDo’s and I would like to see the list get shorter not longer. It’s taking over an hour for my computer (I9 processor) to process the 600 plus ToDo list. It take only 20 minute to process the first 350 ToDo’s.
- I decided to rename this thought type to Author Editing Note (so that it’s at the top of the list in the A’s) and so that I will start remembering to use this more often.
Today 2025/09/01 22:33, I have decided to add a number if front of the Thought Type so that is easier to get navigate the drop down list to get to the most used Thought Types.
- #1 Author Editing Note. (This note).
- #2 Glossary (so maybe I will now remember to use this more.)
- #3 Manager (The main reason for using the number first for thought type groups) Because it was way down the list and I was having to scroll to get to the “M’s”.
- #4 Accolades. Because I do use this a lot also.
2025/09/01 23:31 I have decided to reorder and replace
- #4 Location
- #5 Accolades
- #6 (for future)Looks like I skipped it, I didn’t do it on purpose but lets see in time how this works out.
- #7 Ballparks - Something that I have decided to start working on now instead of waiting to do this task later. It does take up a lot of time and it’s a little interruption in the sequence of imputing the teams and player data, and it’s a total different sequence that is a lot more time consuming. But if I get this into my routine now, I think it will help to see the organizational layout better.
- #8 Ballparks (Minor League)
2025/09/01 23:40 - Work needs to be done with organizing the huge category of Managers (the list is over 1600 managers) and when I open the “Manager” thought sometimes it freezes up my computer.
- Accolades (Thought Type) needs some cleaning up and organizing also as it is getting too big.
I wonder if we can make our ToDo list private?
How to handle **players who become coaches** and **then become managers.
Changing all THOUGHT TYPE for team years to be use as a TYPE only for the current year.
MLB All Stars Accolades
I considered linking this thought under the Thought Type Accolades and then it was no longer under this Thought Type - Author Editing Note. As it can only be listed under one Thought Type at a time.
How do I program an API to do a lookup for where the next event will be held?
- Consider using for non-roster invitees “Spring Training + Year” as a Thought instead of putting the player on the Team Roster Thought for the year they were invited to Spring Training. I see I did this for the Angels 2023 - Spring Training. So this might be better if the regular 40-man roster members are not included, so it serves the purpose of just tracking the non-roster invitees.
