<p class="MsoNormal" style=" mso-margin-top-alt: auto;"><span style=" font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: black;">Just wanted to share about Fast </span><span style=" font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: black;">Deploy </span><span style=" font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: black;">Program, currently our client is using this for all production deployments. It’s really fast and easy to use.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style=" mso-margin-top-alt: auto;"><b><u><span style=" font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: black;">Key facts:</span></u></b></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style=" mso-margin-top-alt: auto;"> </p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style=" mso-margin-top-alt: auto; text-indent: -.25in;"><span style=" font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: black;">1.</span><span style=" font-size: 7.0pt; color: black;">       </span><span style=" font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: black;">Fast Deploy allows you to run deployments of small subsets of Apex Code without running all Apex tests.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style=" mso-margin-top-alt: auto; text-indent: -.25in;"><span style=" font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: black;">2.</span><span style=" font-size: 7.0pt; color: black;">       </span><span style=" font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: black;">Fast Deploy only requires you to run Apex tests that provide coverage for the Apex Code being deployed.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style=" mso-margin-top-alt: auto; text-indent: -.25in;"><span style=" font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: black;">3.</span><span style=" font-size: 7.0pt; color: black;">       </span><span style=" font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: black;">Fast Deploy lets you specify the subset of test classes that will be run with any deployment.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style=" mso-margin-top-alt: auto; text-indent: -.25in;"><span style=" font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: black;">4.</span><span style=" font-size: 7.0pt; color: black;">       </span><span style=" font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: black;">Fast Deploy requires 75% code coverage on EACH class and EACH trigger being deployed.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style=" mso-margin-top-alt: auto; text-indent: -.25in;"><span style=" font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: black;">5.</span><span style=" font-size: 7.0pt; color: black;">       </span><span style=" font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: black;">Fast Deploy requires that this code coverage is wholly obtained from the tests specified for that deployment.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style=" mso-margin-top-alt: auto; text-indent: -.25in;"><span style=" font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: black;">6.</span><span style=" font-size: 7.0pt; color: black;">       </span><span style=" font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: black;">Fast Deploy will run tests in classes being deployed in addition to those you specify.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style=" mso-margin-top-alt: auto; text-indent: -.25in;"> </p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style=" mso-margin-top-alt: auto;"><b><u><span style=" font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: black;">Some things to be aware of</span></u></b><u><span style=" font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: black;">:</span></u></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style=" mso-margin-top-alt: auto; text-indent: -.25in;"><span style=" font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: black;">1.</span><span style=" font-size: 7.0pt; color: black;">       </span><span style=" font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: black;">This is still a pilot program.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style=" mso-margin-top-alt: auto; text-indent: -.25in;"><span style=" font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: black;">2.</span><span style=" font-size: 7.0pt; color: black;">       </span><span style=" font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: black;">You can easily revert to the old behavior by doing nothing. Simply specify no tests to run in the runTest parameter, you will revert to the old behavior of running all tests.  You must intentionally try to use Fast Deploy!<u1:p></u1:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style=" mso-margin-top-alt: auto; text-indent: -.25in;"><span style=" font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: black;">3.</span><span style=" font-size: 7.0pt; color: black;">       </span><span style=" font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: black;">Fast Deploy does not follow the aggregate coverage pattern of the regular deployment.  EACH CLASS / TRIGGER being deployed will be checked for 75% coverage.<u1:p></u1:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style=" mso-margin-top-alt: auto; text-indent: -.25in;"><span style=" font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: black;">4.</span><span style=" font-size: 7.0pt; color: black;">       </span><span style=" font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: black;">The 75% coverage must come from the tests specified to run. No credit is given for other tests that do not get run that would have provided coverage.<u1:p></u1:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style=" mso-margin-top-alt: auto; text-indent: -.25in;"><span style=" font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: black;">5.</span><span style=" font-size: 7.0pt; color: black;">       </span><span style=" font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: black;">There is no undo button on Fast Deploy.<u1:p></u1:p></span></p>
