On July 29, 2020, General Gold entered into an option agreement with Metals Creek Resource Corp. to acquire 100% of the right, title and interest in and to the 770 hectare Clark’s Brook Property in central Newfoundland.
The property has been the subject of previous exploration, most notably a 2,000 meter program undertaken by Metals Creek Resources which resulted gold samples up to 19.25 g/t with a gold average of 4.08 g/t.
Drilling has been done to 400m vertical and shown a gold system that appears to continue at depth and remains open along strike and at depth.
Metals Creek Resources, in their summary of the property stated: “the close proximity to the sheared granite/sediment contact makes this an ideal setting to host more significant mineralization”.
