So which should you or your clients choose?
Great question. And the answer is it depends.
What does the company do?
Where do they do it?
Whom do they do it for?
What are the long term plans? Build the company and retire? Sell?
You won't get an answer here. You have to do something really weird. Talk to people. This is a conversation that should be held between an accountant, a lawyer, and the business owner.
And accountant, a lawyer, and a business owner walk into a bar. This is stupid because after the accountant, you'd think the lawyer and the business owner would look where they weren't going!
