AND

This part of the Knowledgebase covers some of Randy's early work leading to recognition of the need for better narratives for topics like climate change.

There aren't many thoughts linked to here, but note that The Benshi Blog provides links to several dozen of the several hundred blog posts making up the blog over its 5-year run.

NOTE: If you get lost, to return to this thought at any time click on the AND thought pinned to the top of your screen.

Specific materials you might want to start with include:

• The Flock of Dodos Documentary, exploring the intelligent design movement and the narrative issues embodied in that movement. [Unfortunately no longer available as far as I can tell]

• The Dude, Where's my Climate Movement talk, pointing to the lack of a coherent movement and narrative.

• Nicholas Kristof's column, which lays out key elements of a good environmental narrative.

• The Benshi Blog contains a ton of stuff of particular interest to anyone focused on climate change (at least that's the focus of the links included here).

Note: If you are not seeing thoughts linked to this heading you have probably not "purchased" access to this Mini-Brain (even if it is free). When you do so at our Your External Brains website all of the material will be visible to you on-line, and you'll be able to download the Mini-Brain for better access.
