The Climate Web

The Climate Web

This Climate Web Mini-Brain is intended to help explore the topic of an effective "climate narrative." How do you effectively communicate a problem with the intergenerational and other "wicked" characteristics of climate change? How do you overcome the cognitive biases and other barriers that interfere with internalizing and responding to a problem like climate change? These are difficult questions, and it's clear from the lack of climate progress that they haven't been effectively answered to date. Hence the need for a climate narrative.

The material you've been exploring here is extracted from the larger Climate Web to make it easier to access and internalize. In fact the material organized here is only a small slice of the climate communications topic and literature organized in the Climate Web. And climate communications is only one of dozens of climate-relevant topics that can be explored through the Climate Web.

While the Climate Web is a carefully organized climate change knowledge management solution, it can also be adapted to almost any specific topical or communications goal. Indeed, it can probably help you assemble an And-But-Therefore narrative for pretty much any climate topic you are working on. Contact the Climatographers for more information on how to do that.
