Brute fact, God

Positing the brute fact of God is not as parsimonious as it seems. It seems on the surface that positing this one simple fact accomplishes much, as an explanation:

• existence of souls
• love
• universe
• reason
• morality

One brute fact that supposedly solidly grounds all of these things. But does it really?
