Non-Overlapping Magisteria

This idea that:

Science deals with the empirical realm (how the heavens go), while religion deals with questions of ultimate meaning and moral value (how to go to heaven)

is bogus in an era of rockets. Physics and aeronautics absolutely has answers about how to go to heaven. And we can do it without dying! Religion can only send us to heaven, one way, through the veil of death, from whose bourne no traveller returns. Meanwhile empiricism, science and technology are letting people set foot on the moon, and return to walk the earth.
