Ecumenicalism

Being ecumenical means seeing the whole of humanity as one big family and treating everyone with brotherly and sisterly love.

Mormonism and Ecumenicalism

Mormonism takes a rather forward-thinking and tolerant theological view on people who do not believe the same as they do that would be considered blasphemy to Christianity, it is so accepting.

In practice, lived Mormonism still has a way to go toward treating their detractors and doubters with the same grace that they treat the rest of humanity, who have not yet had their doors knocked on by Mormon Missionaries. Or those who then reject it. Or their own apostates.
