"Holocaust in Heaven"
At 1:31:46
[In the context of animal suffering and the problem of suffering,]
I like to ask people, do you think that free will exists in heaven, in the afterlife? Do you think that the afterlife is a life that's worth having? And if the answer is yes to both, then you either have to accept that it is possible for someone to commit a holocaust in heaven, which seems ludicrous, or you have to suggest that actually there can be a state of existence in which people are free and happy and living in a way that's worth living, that does not necessitate the infliction of suffering, and the experience of suffering.
