Truth, Exclusion & Limits of Knowledge

Jared wonders aloud:

If there is more knowledge in the world’s libraries than can be learned in one human lifetime, then we must make arbitrary or painful decisions about what to learn about and what truth to internalize, even if we are intellectually honest. If there is more truth to learn than can be learned in one lifetime, then only an infinite being such as God can possess all of the truth. But by the same token, we can never know the mind of God, but we will only be in possession of some subset of the truth.

Again, all attempts at writing, sharing, or teaching the truth about any subject are absolutely engaged in a small to large amount of exclusion of true facts. However, from my point of view, if we are to seek the mind of God, we are to spend our days learning as much truth as we possibly can, until our dying day, even knowing that we will never get all of the answers. It matters more what we prioritize and how we arrive at the answers we do find. The best we can do is make sure that subset does not contradict itself.
