Formed a company with the Marquess of Bath 1874 (John Alexander Thynne 1831-96)

1899 Bought 10 - 15 Bath Street, Frome purchased from the Longleat Estate for 1,325.  From 5th Marquess Thomas Thynne 1862-1946

He founded Messrs E Baily & Son Ltd with his brother. Arthur Richard Baily died in a fire at his residence May 4th 1910.  The Baily family appear to have leased property from the Longleat Estate between 1764 and 1899
