Part of the Problem

Along the way, people used to ask me what I did. As I began to explain you could see their eyes glaze over as I’m sure they were asking themselves, “Why did I ask? And how the hell do I get him to stop?”

Also, I used to labor over the creations of models for weeks, and sometimes months, and then send them to friends and ask them what they thought. When they responded, if they responded at all, the typical response was, “That’s nice!” In time I learned what they really wanted to say was, “Why the hell did you send this to me?” What I was producing were incomprehensible nightmares, like the one below, that simply created headaches for most. Fortunately even this sorted itself out in time.
