Finding Meaning in a Model

While I have developed numerous models, and have relentlessly promoted storytelling there have been instances where I have actually stopped and asked, “What does this mean?”

I expect there have been instances where you’ve sat through a presentation and by slide 10 you couldn’t remember what was on the first slide. With storytelling one creates a pattern that connects like in a movie or a play. Yet, even with a pattern that connects it is often not easy to ascertain just what the story means. In several instances I’ve found one or more archetypes in the midst of stories which help provide the real meaning of the relationships. What I found most difficult to sort out what how to find these patterns which are the essential meaning of the model. The following video is an attempt to present what I think I now understand.
