Curses

If cursed, there must be somewhere for the curse to stick.

Like a fluttering sparrow or darting swallow, an undeserved curse does not come to rest.

Proverbs 26:2

The way it sticks is through legal disobeyment of the law. However, curses cannot hold according to the verdict obtained due to his suffering for us:

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. For it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.”
