Righteousness

The righteousness of the believer in Jesus Christ:

1. Intended before the creation of the world: Eph 1.4
2. Implemented by Christ’s righteous life on earth: 2 Cor 5.21
3. Imputed to the believer at his/her response to the gospel: Rm 3.21-24, 4.5, 5.19; 1 For 1.30; 2 For 5.21; Phil 3.9
4. Imparted to the glorified believer when perfected and separated from sin and the sinful flesh; 1 Jn 3.2, Rev 19.8, Rom 7.24-25
