Logical support for the immanency of Christ’s return

The consistent sense of urgency of Christ’s return would not make sense if Jesus’ return must fullow some known and as yet unfulfilled future event.

References such as 1 Jn 3.2-3 and 2 Pet 3.11-14 to live alertly and soberly in light of Christ’s return would not make sense if Jesus’ return must fullow some known and as yet unfulfilled future event.

Though other prophesied events may precede Christ’s return, there are no events that must precede it.
