Jacob's faith

<p>Jacob, through his prayer in Gen 32.9-12 and his perseverant seeking of a blessing in Gen 32.26 shows he had come to recognize his present prosperity was due to God's gracious providence, which he realized he did not deserve, and his future survival and prosperity would be dependent on God as well.</p>
