45 Rm 8.18-21 The creation's recovery from sin
<p><b>Romans 8:18-21 (ESV) </b>
18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
19 For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God.
20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope
21 that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God.</p>

<p>Paraphrase:
I think that our present sufferings are nothing compared with the glory that is going to be revealed to us and in us. Because the whole physical creation is waiting in eager anticipation of God revealing us glorified as His sons. Up until now God has bound the creation to the corruption, the decay, death, and uselessness caused by the sin of mankind, starting with Eve and Adam. The creation is eagerly hoping, expecting to be freed from this bondage and gain the freedom of being under the dominion and management of the glorified children of God, just like it was originally under Adam and Eve before they sinned.</p>
